La película, Salt, mezcla animación stop motion con: danza, marionetas y acción en real, en vivo. Fue filmada en el increíble mundo subterráneo de las minas de sal de Wieliczka a las afueras de Cracovia en Polonia, y en las dunas de arena escocesas.

MARIA LLOYD
Maria Lloyd
Maria, de nacionalidad noruega, se formó en International School of Theatre Jacques Lecoq en París. Desde entonces ha creado películas de animación de danza. Su experiencia de trabajar extensamente con equipos de artistas la ha llevado a encontrar un lenguaje de cine personal donde las formas de arte se encuentran y se desafían entre sí. Viviendo en Inglaterra durante 13 años, sus películas fueron encargadas y distribuidas por South East Dance Agency en el Reino Unido y Euroarts en Berlín. Su trabajo ha sido financiado por Arts Council England y ganó el premio IMZ en Mónaco por la mejor screen choreography. Sus cortometrajes han sido exhibidos en los canales de televisión europeos y presentados en muchos festivales internacionales. Lloyd formó parte de los fundadores de The Nightingale Theatre, que se ha convertido en un centro de arte interdiciplinario de vanguardia en el Reino Unido. Maria ahora radica en Oslo y trabaja con la compañía de producción de Medieoperatørene. En este momento está trabajando en un nuevo proyecto documental, «Mapping the air», sobre una bailarina ciega.
